Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Upon your arrival, check in at the local hotel. You will have today to explore the city on your own.
Day 02: Beijing
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. You will eat a tradional beijing duck dinner century-old Quan Ju De restaurant followed by a lively Peking Opera performance.
Day 03: Beijing - Harbin
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. Then fly to Harbin in the evening and check into a local hotel
Day 04: Harbin
Visit the Jewish Community including the Main Synagogue and the sites of Jewish High School, Hospital, and Jewish Bank.
Day 05: Harbin - Zhengzhou
Visit Harbin New Synagogue, which is the largest Jewish synagogue in East Asia. At the synagogue you will see Harbin Jewish History and Culture Exhibition. In the afternoon visit the Harbin Huangshan Jewish Cemetery, the largest and the best-preserved one in East Asia. Take an evening flight to Zhengzhou and check in at the local hotel.
Day 06: Zhengzhou - Kaifeng
Drive to Kaifeng. Visit South Teaching Torah Lane and Shi Family's Mini-Jewish Museum(also Kaifeng Jewish Community Center). Lunch with several Jewish descendants of Kaifeng. In the afternoon, visit the Iron Pagoda and Dragon Pavilion. Drive back to Zhengzhou.
Day 07: Kaifeng - Luoyang - Shanghai
Drive to Luoyang. Visit the Longmen Grottoes. Then take a flight to Shanghai and check in at the hotel.
Day 08: Shanghai
Visit the site of former Shanghai Jewish Ghetto in Hongkou District that was set up during World War Two. You will also see The Ohel Moshe Synagogue, Children’s Palace, and Jade Buddha Temple.
Day 09: Shanghai
Visit Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden. In the evening you will take a Huangpu River Cruise and see the beautiful view of the Bund.
Day 10: Departure from Shanghai
Check out the hotel and be transferred to the airport.
